Lately, I am so into Vampires series LOL! Yes, I know, even hubby also looked surprised when he first noticing this. With the new season of The Vampire Diaries 4 now showing and the upcoming movie of Breaking Dawn: Part 2, I can't resist myself to be one of the die hard fans :)

The Selective Taste Bud
When me and hubby going out for makan - makan, he always ask me where and what to eat. This is because I am very particular when it comes to food and he doesn't. I blame my taste bud LOL but other food I can tolerate also bah...
And last night, my sister told me about this one eatery at Market 88 near Austral Park and asked me to try their Spring Mee. I am not sure whether you guys ever heard this coffee shop - Sandakan Kopitiam (SK). So for today's lunch we headed to SK and the place was full. Luckily enough we were able to get seated shortly.
Now, ordering time! Hubby ordered Kon Lo Mian Pork Meat and as for me at first I wanted to order Soup Noodles but when the lady said this:
"Mi Sup kah?"
Then, I changed my mind cos I don't really like soup noodles shop style ya except meehoon or kueh tiao so I ordered this:
This is Kon Lo Mian Mix; with fried pork slice, fish egg tau foo and wonton (with century egg and meat inside). It is a fulfilling meal. The mian that they are using is called Spring Mee. They also have Pan Mian and Ham Choi Fish Soup Mian apart from the above.
Long weekend is here and this meal is perfect for breakfast or lunch!
See, not choosy at all just a bit :)

Working Wife Found Her Helper
Selamat Hari Raya and happy holidays all!!!
Well, I started my Raya holidays since last Friday. Stayed back at office till 7.00pm to finish all pending works, went out for dinner and bought one great deal of cooker! So, you may ask what type of cooker? It is a Thermal Wonder Cooker by La Gourmet :) Actually, it was introduced by my SIL Caneeliea, hop to her blog and read an interesting facts about this cooker.
Ok, apart from staying late at office for work, I also did some recipes printing for me to try and cook using this cooker. Other than rice, soup and pasta, you can also cook cake/dessert inside this thermal cooker! Nice kan? So, my first experiment was Chocolate Cake. The result? Yummy!!! But, I forgot to take photo of the cake and the portion was so little and might have to double up the ingredients next time. It took seven hours to cook after I steamed the cake for 35 minutes.
I also bought one for my mum since they are now into soupy meals and enthusiastically explained to her how this thing works lol! My second recipe for this week is Pork Peanut Soup, hubby's fav meals. So, I cooked 15 minutes on the stove and let it rest for 8 hours and the result? Clear soup, tender meat, the taste is just right and hubby loves it very very very much!
Upper center: Thermal Wonder Cooker 2.5L Left side: Pork Peanut Soup Right side: Chocolate Cake
It's worth buying and a great helper; save your gas, electricity and most importantly your energy and I will be happy when I reached home the dinner is served!

One year and counting
One year ago, on this day, at this time, I was super duper nervous, walked in the aisle with my parents to the altar, to say 'I do' then become a wife. Now, today, we are celebrating our first 365 days as a man and wife, yeay!!!
Will be going out for a nice dinner tonite to celebrate...and I baked a special cake for us; Steamed Fruit Cake with Cream Cheese topping... Why I choose to bake this cake instead of my fav choc cake? Because I like the flavors in the mixed fruit...sweet and sour and colorful...which actually represent our life...
And we suppose to cut and eat the cake today but I guess both of us were hungry and tia sabar sabar, so we ate the cake yesterday lol!
Fruity Truity :)
And to my husband... please don't stop doing the Piranha 3D poster...because I love it very much and your version is so much better than the original one... xoxoxo!!!
Happy Monday peeps! (Yeay, am on leave and still need to email reports huhuhu)

Was about to blog about my first FF but I was so occupied with office work till I have to stay back for the last 2 days. Sorry ah Chegu Carol, I miss the boat! Anyways, I would like to show my final result of last week FF's theme; Ikat inspired. At first, I thought using getah rambut mau design tu kuku but bukan lah pula hehehe...

Not really kemas but oklah... After 2 times trial and error then I'm satisfied with the result. Plus, I don't have the small brush so I just used ordinary brush and toothpick lol!
Nail colors from Ianti, Face Shop and Kedai Keling for black color :)
And this week FF theme is animal print; I love the leopard print tho' but we'll see :)

Sundayz Cooking
It's been another great Sunday for both of us coz we've done cooking just now. Am not sure why suddenly hubby got excited to cook today and his reference sepa lagi if not Jamie Oliver , the naked chef :)
So, after breakie, we went to buy all the needed ingredients at Merdeka Supermarket. Macaroni, cheese, minced pork, tomato sauce/puree, olive oil, eggs, butter, parsley and veggies and not to forget my chocoholic dessert!
After one hour plus preparation plus cooking and baking, here's the outcome;
First time baking the chocos brownie, I missed out the ice cream and today the brownie is complete with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream, yum! Not to forget hubby's first trial on the macaroni minced pork and the mini pies of strawberry and orange marmalade filling, nyaman! :)
Great day spending time with the love one and hope uols have a great day too!

Reruns - TV Series, Addicted
How do I live if I didn't watch them at least a day in a week? LOL, this is the statement I told my hubby when I didn't manage to watch my fav drama series - Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Yeap, mind you am a BIG FAN of these two series. And for all info; both dramas are up to Season Eighth already!
I can watch them from Season One till the latest episodes and there are some episodes that I can recall the scripts, aiseh trip trip like the pelakon aha! I remember before I got married, I used to watch them back at my parent's home till 2.00 am and there was my dad kept asking me' what with these doctors - doctors?' And I know if I replied him definitely he couldn't understand my excitement towards these series
Luckily, my other half understands this and sometimes even ask me whether I wanna watch the series, YIPEEE!
Hmmm, now I can't wait to watch every new episode and the story lines become more and more interesting. Wonder when these two drama series will be adapted into movie, calling Shonda Rhimes and Marc Cherry :)So, what's your fav drama series? I know Lizee also likes Desperate Housewives hehehe. Oh well, it's just a simple kind of entertainment after all, so I don't mind spending my weekend with them
Till then have a nice weekend uols!

Another Instant Hobby
I always admire my MIL's energy in taking care of her garden and her flowers and plants are growing healthy as ever. Whenever, my PIL going back to Tambunan, she always remind me and hubby to water her garden. But, sometimes we do forget and lucky us if it's raining :)
I never like gardening actually, once I have the urge to plant vegetables but then it stopped without any reason. Till now, my packet of vege seeds and vases are dumped in our room. And recently, I wanted to buy nice potted flower plant to decor our toilet. So today, I dragged hubby to see the nursery shop near my office and look for nice flower. At first, I wanna buy the mini trumpet lilac flower but half of the flowers are yellowish, macam mau mati sdh ni, then I was looking this particular flower and YES she's the one!
![]() |
Named her Crissie and she's one of the Chrysanthemum family members
And what I love about Crissie (according to the saleslady), this is the maximum height for her to grow :)
Then, I told hubby that I want to start again my gardening activity and the first project will be my two (2) kinds of vegetable; Choi Sum and Bak Choy and also taking care of my new flower hehehe
Hopefully, I can pursue with this instant hobby of mine cos the first time I didn't make it worked but now it's coming back again, wish me luck!

My First Garage Sale
I was excited when received an invitation my from ex uni friend to participate in their company's garage sale
A garage sale, also known as a yard sale, rummage sale, tag sale, lawn sale, attic sale, moving sale, or junk sale, is an informal, irregularly scheduled event for the sale of used goods by private individuals, in which "block sales" are allowed, so that sellers are not required to obtain business licenses or collect sales tax. Typically the goods in a garage sale are unwanted items from the household with the home owners conducting the sale. The goods are sometimes new, like-new, or just usable, offered for sale because the owner does not want or need the item, to minimize their possessions, or to raise funds. Source taken from Wikipedia
I bongkar all my old and new stuffs like clothes, hand bags, shoes and accessories as my selling products. I did inform my mom and sister and they also joining me by selling the same items. The garage sale took place at Regency Park Apartment's Hall last Saturday. About 20 booths were filled and most of us selling clothes and bags
I never thought my second hand nail colors were the hottest item that day! I have been used 1 or 2 times of these nail color and some of them even new (suddenly I don't like the color LOL) and excessive stock at home. They were just finished within 30 minutes :)
Next hottest item was the hand bags, our stall was the first one to finish our bags, maybe my mum sold them with a good price :) The clothing section was ok and we managed to get sale from it also. The sale started from 9.00 am to 2.30 pm. The crowd; most of them the residents of Regency Park and outsiders only came in around 10.30 am. With the participation fee of RM 20.00, I hope to get extra $$$ and yes we managed to get good $$$, yeay!
It was indeed another good experience for me, all this time I've been doing the same thing for my previous company and got excited every time we managed to sell our product. But, this time I got overly excited cos it was my OWN product and profit pun untuk diri sendiri hehehe
So, if I got another invitation, I wouldn't miss it!

Technical oh Technical
Wow, it's been a week since I started my new job. Seriously, I still do not know whether I like or not this job. I find my new job interesting. Yeap and am involving and exposing myself to technical and engineering world. It is a good opportunity eh? Despite of learning something new, I tershut down sekejap yesterday when meeting my first client and I was speechless. LOL!
I was in the middle of explaining something practical when this KDM boss/client suddenly asked me questions about technical things nonchalantly and you know what happened next? I couldn't answer lor. On the way back to the office, my boss told me that he do not expect me to learn a lot of this techs but focus more on the tech proposals which involve writing and ideas. Plus, they will assist me next time when doing sales call.
BUT, how am I supposed to write a proposal without knowing a bit of techs world? And, if I have to go ALONE for the sales call? Wuaaahhh! Nope, I will not let myself to be in this situation again. So, I will study all the techs thingy starting now hehehe
I think changing job is really troublesome especially when it is a different field where you have to start from the scratch. But, once you've mastered it, your boat will sail smoothly with fewer problems :)

YES Friend NO Friend
I remember during my high school days, I have a lot of Chinese friends and the friendship with them remains till now. We communicate via FB, Twitter also seeing each other in town.
And yesterday I met one of my friends at Kedai Kopi Ria, Damai when having breakfast with hubby. I think I saw Beaty but I was afraid I got the wrong girl hehehe and next time again I will say hello! :)
Ok, about this friend, I ever saw her and her hubby at coffee shop near my previous office last year. At school, she is known for her friendly gesture and a tegur orang punya lah. The first time we met, I looked at her and wanted to say Hi but she ignored me and I thought because our table distance was quite far so am fine it. But, yesterday it happened again, she's just with her old action. Interesting facts here are; she looked at me then looked away and did it for 4 times, our table was just next to each other and previously she did comment and 'like' my FB status/post.
I say WTF! I will delete her from my FB and Twitter accounts. Maybe during school days, I wanted her to be one of my friends but now I don't need her at all. I rather lose one friend who doesn't appreciate her friend. Sad but true and she's stuck with bad attitude.
Now am judging her and I still hurt.
Now am judging her and I still hurt.

All I Want For This Year...
As we entered year 2012, I have listed down several wishes with hope that I can achieve it.
I did good in last year tho; I got married with my best friend, went for vacation at one of my dream places, got three (3) good gadgets; BB, Tab and Apple :) and got new job! But if I can get free ticket to watch Thunder, Clippers-Warriors on last Christmas night will be much better lol!
Anyways, I bought this cute lucky bamboo with crystals decor on new year. The Chinese lady said it's good to bring $$$; oh well, it's always nice to have extra money :)

I say, the wishes will not come true if there's no effort and God's will. But, if you put your heart into it then you shall receive it!

See the wedding bouquet? I missed my roses. I requested special design and color from our designated florist. Luckily, she managed to get them. And one funny story happened during this time, sudahlah nervous or maybe my maid of honor forgot to take my bouquet and I was holding it for a long time till the Archbishop asked me to put down my bouquet on the table... malu juga but I just said "oh ok"... hehehe

Us: Let the dads try out first ah :)
As usual, in wedding celebrations, any dancing part, the bride and groom have to participate coz they are the highlights of the night. The above traditional dance is called Magunatip or bamboo dance and usually perform by the Murut community and that night was from Murut Nabai of Kg. Masak, Keningau. Nice performance!
Our last reception took place at hubby's hometown, Tambunan, one week after the church wedding
