FF: Ikat Inspired

Was about to blog about my first FF but I was so occupied with office work till I have to stay back for the last 2 days.  Sorry ah Chegu Carol, I miss the boat!  Anyways, I would like to show my final result of last week FF's theme; Ikat inspired.  At first, I thought using getah rambut mau design tu kuku but bukan lah pula hehehe...

Tadaa...

Not really kemas but oklah... After 2 times trial and error then I'm satisfied with the result.  Plus, I don't have the small brush so I just used ordinary brush and toothpick lol!

Nail colors from Ianti, Face Shop and Kedai Keling for black color :)

And this week FF theme is animal print; I love the leopard print tho' but we'll see :)

Other than GOD fearing and slitherin thingy fearing, I totally fear of drowning. Plus, am not train enough how to survive in sea or swimming pool.  The greatest achievement that I did was went I managed to swim from this end of pool to the other end after been taught for 4 hours by my dearest.  And now, am not sure if I still remember the techniques LOL... I need more training bah ni kan?

Hmmm, talking about my wants in my life in this challenge, it will never end. These are wants ok not needs, not necessity and sometimes wants can become needs if you let it!  Aaah well, wants are still wants, if you are capable to get it why not right?

I love cooking and baking.  It will be more enjoyable moment if I can have this type/design of kitchen :)

The place below is been added to my vacay list.  I love the scenery and beach.  Not that we don't have great beaches here, but, honestly, I also want to see another God's creation.  Hawaii, wait for us k! :)

Hola!  Apologize for the delay in posting the YOU challenge.  And now will be more challenging cos I have to do 5 postings by end of today :)

Ok, let's go straight to the foodie (the food below - non halal)

My all time fave: Steamed Chicken with Char Siew and Boiled Bean Sprout

Just had this meal during our lunch break today.  Simple and fast - that's what I like.  Love the chicken sauce and char siew (roasted pork) gravy.  The rice? OMG! Super yummy, it costs RM 1.50/small bowl for additional rice, nah, small portion with quite high price, definitely sedap!  If you are craving for nice steamed chicken, char siew, boiled bean sprout, boiled sawi and wonton soup, just make your way to Wiya Chicken Shop at Segama, Kota Kinabalu. Highly recommended to non - muslim friends! 

10 Day YOU Challenge - Day 4: Books

Thursday it is today and my 4th day of YOU challenge.  Today the secret will reveal the books that I like and like :)  As I ever mentioned before in my previous post, I am not an avid reader or who do reading a lot.  I can say from the scale of 10, I am at 5 lah and this only meant for novels but for magazines (especially entertainment one) it will be 11 out of 10.  You might ask WHY?  I have exposed myself to this kind of reading materials since I was in Form 1 ya, so you do the math how many already :)

Nevertheless, I do read and collect books from my fav authors and my choice is always a FICTION one.  So, my list are as below :-

01.  Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella

I can't resist reading all her books even though sometimes, I think Rebecca's addiction to shop/spend is too much!  I like the way Sophie write all her books and for me I manage to follow and understand :)

Other than the above, I also have other books by Sophie

02.  Cecelia Ahern - The famous author for P.S. I Love You :)

03.  Elizabeth Gilbert - Eat, Pray & Love

04.  Khatijah Ibrahim or Ahmad - Famous author of Malay book - Cinderela

Raining. Gloomy and cooling Wednesday, nice and I like it heheee...

Ok, day three (3) of YOU challenge is about films.  I have 5 films that I love so far :)

01.  Bridget Jones's Diaries

Love the story line, actress and actor (I mean Colin Firth ok not Hugh Grant). Childhood memories, the diary thingy and the soundtracks, yeay!

02.  Princess Diaries 2

I am more on this second sequel compare to first one :)

03.  Harry Potter Series

The first movie of HP, I watched more than 10 times, crazy rite?  But, I do like it very much compare to the others.  Usually, the introductory part is always the best and hey I can even memorize the script ok!

04.  Enchanted

Another great movie by Mc Dreamy @ Patrick Dempsey and of course Amy Adams, I think both of them is a great couple

05. Salt

Angelina Jolie looks tough in this movie hehehe, don't you think so? 

Well, you can see all my fav are lovey dovey and a bit of roughness movies but they are simply the best for me. 

It's Ash Wednesday and happy fasting to all Christians. And today, after 7 years, m gonna face my 2nd time of life challenge!  Hope everything is OK! :)

I love slow/sentimental/R&B, thus, all my fave songs are either love, oldies and catchy.  Even if we went for karaoke, these genre of music are in my list.  I used to buy soundtrack/original score for movies or drama.  The one that I love most till now are my Bridget Jones's Diary cassettes particularly this song:

Hola!

I've been tagged by Wyne  for the 10 Day YOU Challenge since last week but again was down due to fever, flu and cough!  Sick leave for 2 days and only yesterday I feel much better. Huaaa, I lost mojo for several days and now claiming it back hehehe...  

Ok, day 1 of the challenge is picture of me.  Am gonna share my pixies from kecik till now :)

From the top: I was 2 years old and according to my mum I loved to wear that kind of hair piece, I guess that's the style during that era kan?

From the right side: Thirties gurl!  Celebrated my buffday with dearest last year :)

Feelin' younger everytime I celebrate my buffday LOL...and as usual, age is just a number and nothing can define your oldness unless yourself :)  Happy birthday to those who's celebrating today!!!
