Pssst!!!

24 days to be exact! And we are counting days now.  Preparation?  Hmmm, I still can manage till today.

My pending checklist goes like this; finalize the guests' list, script for emcees, to revise (again) the program for the reception, food tasting and rehearsals.  They may look sikit but totally can turn on my swing mood; I mean later lah not now :)

And here's a sneak peek of our wedding card, we love it very much and suits our theme colors.

And yeay, our wedding rings just arrived yesterday, specially custom-made according to our specification and it's time to buy a pillow ring!!!

Well, hopefully everything will go well, maybe not perfect but enough to bring happiness faces on our memorable day! *** fingers crossed ***

Break Me Out

By The Rescues.

I've asked dearest to help me download this song, downloaded and waiting to be transferred into my BB and Tab.  Suddenly, I love this song, the rhythm mostly :) Anyways, it's featured in the Grey's Anatomy - Season 5 - Sweet Surrender (Episode 20).

And our wedding reception is 60 days to go.Period! I can say 70% lah our prep now. I have mix feeling ah; happy, scared, panic and excited.  Waiting for the moment to walk the aisle with my dad, dad to give me to dearest, saying the gracious and sacred vows, seeing the parents, families and friends enjoying the once in a life moment and the life of being a WIFEY!  It will be a long journey for both us BUT we will survive this!
So, for my wedding receptions, I will let my hair down and adorn with fresh roses :) and similar to the style below:

Isn't it pretty, simple but I like it :)
Can't wait for my Zumba class today yay! and even though am super duper busy, I still have time for my newly born; the Tabber.  It is like my mobile diary now with loads of game kekeke and am one freaky game bride-to-be!

Super Busy Gurl!

Yeap, the title above refers to ME, lol!

I am super duper busy these nowadays; mostly about my wedding preparation (my assigned checklist) and my work.  Not dat my other half is not helping me doing the prep, but, he's also getting busier with his piles of work, so to be fair, I need to have better time management.

Talking about wedding prep, we just finished our pre-wed shoot, last Saturday. OK, at first, I feel excited because of the makeups and hairdos also can strike a pose like model (especially for solo pixies, lol).  But, after some time, backache due to various poses and my high heels, still we can smile and enjoy the day.  Posted several pixies taken by us in FB and thanks for the 'likes' peeps!  Another sneak peek of the day :)

Chinese Maharaja and Permaisuri costumes.  Our most enjoyable session!
And work, work, work, our office big event; Sabah Fest 2011, is coming up soon. This year, we will feature more about Kadazandusun people in Sabah.  As usual, my part is the handicrafts and traditional food exhibition.  Our team need to make sure everything is well decorated at the Magellan's foyer.  Dusssh, crucial moment and I ever worked from 5.00am to 6.30am ni, don't want it to be happened again!!!

BTW, heard many good news from friends; weddings, new born and mommy-to-be! I pray everything will be OK and god bless you all!!!

P/S: It's Palm Sunday today and have a pleasant weekend y'all!!!

Flower POWER!!!

To choose the right flower/s for wedding church and reception is an essential matter for me.  From the main entrance to the altar or main table, flowers can cheer up and beautify the surroundings

Recently, we went to one florist in Bornion to check out flowers and prices. They have this package which includes the bride's bouquet, corsage, church, reception and car decoration and the cost range is between RM 500.00 to RM 600.00 exclusive of delivery charges.  But the arch decor is using artificial/fake flowers.  I know I have to let go Margaret Florist (sorry to say for me the price is expensive, unless they can discount more for me hahaha).  And I still have several choices to go before we can make our final decision. But, if you guys can suggest to me other florists, you are most welcome :)

Ok, sambung balik tu cerita di Bornion, I have picked and bought my fave flowers for me to tinggu2 mana satu idaman kalbu

Maybe Gerbera Daisy? It is the 5th most used cut flower in the world

I love dis flower, under Sunflower family but dis one kecil ckit
And
Rose - widely grown for their beauty and fragrance

Heart dis one oso :)
OR
Both hehehe
I really love flowers!
Well, I have in mind already which one to choose, can u guess hehehe?

Gonna search the net dulu the designs and style, at least must have something in mind right before talk to the taukeh nyong :)

P/S:  Checked on the tulip price; 1 stalk = RM 10.00 huhuhu

Auspicious Dates, here and there!

Note: Countdown to W-day

Courtesy image of platinum-wedding-ring.us
Last time, I ever asked my dad if he knows how to look for auspicious date for wedding ceremony and he replied:
'Err, not sure'

Then, last Saturday when my dad was getting ready to attend his supplier's daughter wedding, I finally told him that we are ready to walk the aisle this coming July, then he paused and answered:
'Why July, not August, September or October?'

I replied:
'Why? X bagus kah? We checked the date is a good one'

He explained that usually month of July is the Hungry Ghost Festival:
'July selalu orang cina sembahyang hari antu, yang durang bakar - bakar di tepi jalan tu'

I heard that terus kembang bulu tangan and decided to cancel the date lols!  No offense to those yang got married in July ah
My dad suddenly said: 'Bah, nanti daddy check sama orang tua ok kah tidak'

Nah, suddenly he realized he got contacts lah pula. Like other couples, we also trying to get a good date for our special day OK! and eventually that's the one but who wants to celebrate happiness when other people will be mourning and weeping for their loss kan?  We also want to respect our ancestors bah!!!

After looking and searching again, we finally decided to tie knot in August this year, what day you asked? Bah, nantilah dulu mau tanya orang tua dulu... :)  Hope this day will bring everlasting happiness to us!

Now, preparation is going on and like I posted before in my FB's status, so many things to be done but dunno which one to start :) but pray to GOD everything gonna be fine!
