On Rainy Days...

...not that am complaining but it really makes me feel sleepy and dreamy

Plus, it's coming towards end of the year, so I thought my workload will be lesser (since it's holiday month) apparently NOT! But I've applied several annual leave this month and I can't wait the days to come

Also, hubby and I need to chill out and go for a vacay; short or long doesn't care hahaha and YES we will...a week from now and only for one day... How kewl is that?

My Posts Lately...

... are all about Music Monday and Wordless Wednesday!

Well, none of my interesting activities allow me to write anything in my blog... blergh yes boring!

Other than busy with work (who doesn't right?), we are still in the midst of finishing our home revamping and by looking at the manpower; hubby and myself, hmmm we foresee to move officially in September.  There's still a lot do but eventually we will finish it...

And soon we will be welcoming our lil' nephew to the world (hubby's youngest bro and wife baby boy). Smooth delivery R and may God will be with you all the time and yes we're on standby mode hehehe... Also, am gonna be an aunt again next year from my family side since my sister is expecting now.  Enjoy your pregnancy journey G and may God guide you all the way.  As for us, we are still waiting for the good news *fingers crossed*

I am totally hooked on this series!

Great dishes, team challenges and of course the judges also the chosen home cooks (some of them really annoy me esp Krissi and Natasha hah)

The J Family Reunion

And I can't wait!  Our First Family Reunion (from my mom side)... It's gonna be all day long!

Short Vacay: Back to Nature Land

When was the last time we went for a vacay? Long or short? I couldn't remember.  Till last Saturday... no no no...not outside Sabah or Malaysia... just one hour thirty minutes drive.  Tambunan it is!

Going back home to my mum's and hubby's kampung was planned long time ago but this time hubby brought two of his colleagues together with their partners joining us in such a short trip.

So, we went to Mahua Waterfall and stayed overnight at Tamadon block hostel accomodation.  Both hostel blocks were packed during that time (school holiday has just started) and luckily we managed to book early. Pheewww!  For more details, hop to Mahua Rainforest Paradise

The main activities begin - exploring the waterfall and experiencing the nature's smell and scenery

We also went to Tugu Mat Salleh

Aaahhh feel grateful that I still can explore the wonders of nature... one word Gratitude!

Paintings of LIFE

Lately, hubby and I do some window shopping and survey for home décor, it's just that we don't want ended buying something not relevant and priority - reasonable with purpose ^_^

Check out those paintings, these are my fave so far but of course I will not buy all just one or two or three with purpose and relevant hah... am into these words now... Nice right?

It's All About White Stuff

Colours.  White.  Nope wouldn't be my top choice.  Exception for my wedding dress.

But now white seems to be my first choice when it comes to home decoration and furnitures.  I guess it will be easy for us to hunt for them and of course it's Mr. Booomer's fav colours ^_^

It will be not big but good enough for me, hubs and Tabs...  And one thing I'm very particular is our bed design, I love this below but surely can't fit lol... I'll keep it for future home...definitely!

Excuse Me, Lady Chef Here :)

This is a result from watching too much of cooking shows lately... and I can't deny they are actually worth to try.  Seriously!!!

And my current cooking/food channel is non other than the Asian Food (703) Astro Channel.  Boy, I learn a lot actually from this channel... From poultry, seafood to pastry... I think I did good job so far and as usual hubby will be the food critics... teda bias bias arrr :) 

Ok, let see some results from the above specially cooked by yours truly and all dishes are made from scratch esp the marinating part :)

a. Buttery herbs rice with special marinated deep fry prawns inspired by Chef Sher from 5 Rrrencah 5 Rrrasa :)

Use fresh prawn is da best!

 b. Deep fry chicken inspired by Chef Wan from Best of Wan.  This recipe is meant for Ayam Masak Merah but I prefer the frying one and used wings instead coz the ingredients for marinating is full of flavour... I like it!

Look simple but wait till you take the first bite lol!

 c. Oven Baked Mackerel inspired by Chef Hugh from Hugh's 3 Good Things.  Using only 3 ingredients you can produce delectable fish dish.  The long beans dish is my VRR so just focus on the fish part :)  

Fresh mackerel, lemon and bay leaves!

More dishes coming up next and this time will be pastry and cakes and of course Chef Anna Olson will be my ultimate list!

Me and Yoga

Yes... 

I have been practicing Yoga since last month.  Feel excited every time I see friends' insta showing their abilities to perform yoga poses especially the handstand.  Very hard but nice and kewl!

Currently, am just doing the right poses according to my body weight... During my last visit to MPH, I was searching for this book Yoga for Big but it's unavailable :(  Maybe next time then...  So far my favourite poses are as below :)

I am feeling good after 30 minutes of yoga workout twice a week and looking forward to do more advanced poses...will see about it!

The Wedding Anniversary...

We thank God for the blessings from the moment we met, become friends, lovebirds and husband and wife.  Yes, today is our wedding anniversary... and I'm always looking forward to this celebration of love ^_^
