Recipe Box: Sugary Cookies

For today's recipe box, I will share this quick and simple recipe yet good one!  This time, we go for cookies yeay!

Ingredients:

300gm plain flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

120gm unsalted butter, room temperature not melted 

250gm castor sugar

1 no egg

1 tbsp vanilla essence

30gm snow powder or cocoa powder mix with icing sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.  Always, sift these powder

Beat butter and sugar till smooth.  Then, fold in the egg and vanilla essence, mix well

Slowly, fold in the mixed flour until it become dough.  Here, you can shape your dough into round, flower or other shapes.  Can use shape cutter for design consistency

Bake for 8 to 10 mins, if it's a big cookie, bake up to 15 mins

Cool on the wire racks and can sprinkle the snow powder or mixed cocoa onto the cookies
